Senior Product Designer (Lead UX Designer)

Euler Labs is looking for a UX Designer with strong research skills interested in tackling the complex challenges that exist in the blockchain and financial ecosystems to help scale our user base.

About Euler

Euler Labs is helping to build a permissionless lending protocol that allows users to activate their own money markets (among many other innovations) on Ethereum. You can think of Euler as the Uniswap of lending.

About You

As a UX Designer/Lead Product Designer, you will work closely with our UI, product, and engineering teams. You will participate in every stage of a fast-paced design and build process – from research, journey mapping, user flows, and exploratory design sprints, to wire-framing, prototyping, delivery of high-fidelity designs, and iteration with product and engineering throughout the development process.

You will play a critical role in helping to popularise Euler and its mission to democratise the assets people can lend and borrow.

Responsibilities

• Design interfaces for complex DeFi applications focusing on cryptocurrency lending
• Identify new product improvement opportunities by understanding current user frustrations and unmet needs
• Gather and distill feedback from customers and partners into actionable updates
• Take a holistic view DeFi users and their behaviour, and proactively identify gaps and opportunities for new research
• Work in a highly collaborative manner with other stakeholders, engineers, and
• UX strategy and research; qualitative and quantitative research
• Collecting requirements from stakeholders
• Working with our community to better understand their needs

Requirements

• Knowledge of DeFi concepts such as blockchains, non-custodial cryptocurrency wallets, liquidity mining and self-collateralized loans
• Ability to work through ambiguity and multiple priorities; self-motivated and independent
• Proven ability to generate logical interfaces for complex systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
• A portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity, and proven experience using Figma or equivalent tools
• Previous experience at Web3 or high-growth fintech startups preferred

Qualifications

• Experience in Web3 product design, DeFi preferred
• Strong interest in design trends and UX best practices
• Being an active member of the web3 community
• Experience with running usability tests
