DoubleZero Foundation is looking for a highly talented Chief of Staff to join our team and lead many aspects of the organization's growth and internal operations.
Please note: this role is only for people already located in or willing to relocate to the Cayman Islands.
Caymans Leadership. The DoubleZero Foundation is headquartered in the Cayman Islands, and this person will be the organization's main representative on the ground, interfacing with local partners, vendors, government officials and the broader Web3 community.
Executive Collaboration. Report directly to the Foundation's President and work with them to address our highest priorities. Help coordinate logistics to ensure effective use of leadership time.
Internal Operations. Collaborate with all members of the DoubleZero Foundation leadership team to ensure the organization functions professionally and efficiently, including people, legal, finance, and other internal operations.
Communications and Visibility. Represent the DoubleZero Foundation at industry events, on social media, and in the Web3 community at large.
Getting Things Done. The Chief of Staff role is highly fluid and will vary depending on the needs of the organization at any given time. You will likely step into dynamic situations, learn quickly, and then build solutions to empower the rest of the Foundation to move forward.
A crypto or decentralized system enthusiast - you understand the potential of the technology for solving some of the world's most vexing problems.
You are a great communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
An independent problem-solver - you can understand what’s most important quickly and proactively build solutions.
A scrappy team player with a high degree of ownership – you thrive in early-stage environments with lots of moving parts, priorities, roles, and responsibilities.
DoubleZero is a decentralized, permissionless protocol that revolutionizes network performance for distributed systems like blockchain. The mission is simple: increase bandwidth and reduce latency.
DoubleZero increases bandwidth by filtering junk data that currently plagues validators and other network operators. DoubleZero reduces latency by connecting these filters with underutilized private fiber links in the form of a mesh network. By combining these improvements and routing the right data through optimized, low-latency paths, the DoubleZero protocol empowers blockchains and other systems to reach performance levels that are currently impossible.
In short, DoubleZero is a new Internet for distributed systems. It is supported by two organizations: DoubleZero Foundation, which drives the adoption, decentralization, security, and advancement of the protocol; and Malbec Labs, which develops the technical components of the protocol itself. We look forward to hearing from you.
