Senior Fullstack Engineer - EVM

The Role

Xverse is the most advanced and user-friendly Bitcoin wallet, supporting Ordinals, Runes, BRC20, Stacks and Rare Sats. Our team is globally distributed, agile and fast moving. Ultimately we are focused on onboarding the next 100 million users to web3, positioning ourselves to be the go to wallet and gateway.

As we prepare to expand our product features and capabilities, we are looking for Senior Fullstack Engineer with a deep understanding of EVM and its compatibility to work on our integrations with BTC Layer 2s. This role is pivotal in launching our integration with other projects in the Web3 Layer 2 space.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer with an expertise and experience of EVM, you will play a critical role in bridging the Xverse Wallet with the Bitcoin blockchain through Layer 2s, facilitating seamless smart contract interactions and transaction parsing. This position demands a blend of blockchain expertise and full-stack development skills, enabling the creation of robust business logic that connects our front-end and back-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement systems for interacting and integrating with Bitcoin Layer 2, through EVMs, including transaction parsing and smart contract execution.
• Develop secure, efficient connections between the Xverse wallet and BTC blockchain networks, focusing on compatibility and optimization.
• Maintain and extend infrastructure for robust and scalable systems.
• Work closely with our product manager, designer, and the engineering team to be the pioneer in integrating w/ BTC Layer 2
• Act as a subject matter expert on EVM, Ethereum, Solidity, smart contracts and how blockchain transactions operate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development, with 3+ years of blockchain technologies including smart contracts, Solidity, EVM
• Proficiency in Solidity, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and modern frameworks used in blockchain and web development.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technologies, especially in the Ethereum ecosystem, including transaction structures, smart contract development, and blockchain principles.
• Ability to conceptualize and implement complex blockchain business logic that bridges the front-end and back-end systems.
• Demonstrates excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for innovative and creative solutions.
• Comfortable to work with loose requirements.
• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills.
