The job at a glance


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced European Business Development (BD) Manager to lead our business expansion efforts and build strong partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) throughout Europe. As the BD Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, establishing and nurturing relationships with KOLs, and managing a team of BD professionals. Your primary focus will be to increase our brand visibility, drive user acquisition, and expand our business network within the European market.

What is your new mission


  • Develop and execute the Dach region business development strategy to drive user acquisition, increase market penetration, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across various industries, including finance, technology, and media, to establish strategic partnerships and expand our brand influence.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of BD professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success in achieving individual and team objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to align business development efforts with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities in the European cryptocurrency industry.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, establishing and maintaining a strong presence in the European cryptocurrency community.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, contracts, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development metrics, providing regular updates to the executive team on progress and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the cryptocurrency space, and leverage this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.


What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and German is required, and proficiency in other European languages is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar role in the financial or technology industry, preferably within the cryptocurrency sector.
  • Strong understanding of the European cryptocurrency market, regulatory landscape, and emerging trends.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) or influential individuals.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving ambitious goals.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a track record of delivering business growth and exceeding targets.
  • Flexibility to travel within Europe as needed.
