Department Overview

FinTech System Strategy Department contributes to the expansion of “Rakuten Ecosystem” by enhancing the synergy effect in Rakuten FinTech.

Rakuten Group has many financial services such as bank, credit card, securities, insurance, payment services (Rakuten Pay), Rakuten Edy (electronic money). FinTech services are growing rapidly, and at the same time, the development structure is expanding. Proper accounting for management is essential to support strategic business development.

We visualize “People and things” that form IT assets efficiently and effectively as well as provide information for making decisions for executives and business owners.

Proper accounting for management is essential to support strategic business development. It grows increasingly important to understand profit and cost structure in each service model and to analyze ROI on a project-by-project basis.

Therefore, we are looking for members who can support services and organizations’ expansion in the point of financial view.

Position Details

You will be responsible for collecting essential information to analyze ROI and report appropriate information to business owners.

Therefore, you will be in charge of monitoring and planning related to appropriate finance while untangling complex cost structures when designing scheme and promotion of its operation.

Concrete Job Description

Budget management and IT asset management (cost aggregation and reporting)
Costs analysis for each project by monthly/quarterly/yearly
Collaboration with managers related to finance.
Collaboration between departments and groups.

Tools we use: MicsroStrategy, Apptio and other internal systems.

Mandatory Qualifications

Those who have any practical experience below;

Over 3 years experience of Finance or Accounting (Have experience of Monthly closing)

Over 3 years experience of FP&A (Have experience of budget drawing/controling)

Have working experience to use Excel (Vlookup, Sumif, Pivot table)

Desired Qualifications

Data summarizing experience with various business system

Good knowledge of VBA and Database (Access, SQL etc.)

Working Experience As FP&A In IT Company

Have experience of Cost control as PM, PdM and PO

Have reporting expeience to BoD
