For humans, demands and expectations change with time as many pre-existing products and services become obsolete as they can no longer cope with the demands placed on them. These do make some projects/products become a thing of the past as they fail to upgrade and adapt to the demands and changes of the 21st century which has been appropriately termed the Jet Age.

For projects in the crypto space, they are not spared from this as many have been left behind after finding it difficult to upgrade and improve on what they offered previously. While that could be attributed to a lack of insight and foresight from the Team, it can also be traced principally to the demands of the users of such a project which are always dynamic and change with time.

The DeSyn Protocol platform has undergone a series of revamps which have made it the ideal Web3.0 platform for ETFs/Portfolios management. These changes which have culminated in an upgraded version 2.0 of the platform, no doubt have made the project well poised to adapt to changes easily and still retain its product service delivery without sacrificing on quality.

The Objective of the DeSyn Protocol has not changed as through the series of upgrades, it has maintained and continues to deliver on the objectives. Principally, the platform focuses on enhancing the life cycle of ETFs/Portfolios management for portfolio managers while improving convenience and speed for investors to access those products.

From the above, the dynamism of the DeSyn Protocol platform was laid bare. It shows how portfolio managers and investors could judiciously make use of the platform and make profit from it while delivering on such with speed. These simply put the platform in a position of authority thereby commanding much following.

DeSyn Protocol’s Concept

The DeSyn platform has always been a concept of inclusiveness — allowing more people to use and access good financial products in a safe, convenient, and efficient manner, so that everyone can better invest in Web 3.0 Last year, DeSyn discovered everyone’s needs for asset portfolios, and we designed DeSyn. After launching V1.0, we received countless very good suggestions and feedback in the next three months.

There is an old saying: “All innovations stand on the shoulders of giants.” To this end, we deeply studied the fund model in Web2.0, and after interviewing more than a dozen senior fund managers in Web 3.0-, we designed and launched the V2.0 product.

The Core Design of V2.0

Based on the core issue of what is the basic structure of the fund portfolio suitable for Web 3.0, we have launched two basic fund structures: open-end and close-end funds to meet most investments. At the same time, we also optimized the design of each module based on the whole life cycle of fund managers.

DeSyn V2.0 Main Upgrades

The upgraded version 2.0 of the DeSyn Protocol platform is made for the following people who would find the platform accessible and see it as an important tool in their respective fields.

For Portfolio Managers

• There are two basic types of ETFs/Portfolios for Portfolio Managers. These are called the open-ended vs close-ended (more details of these two can be found on our deck)
• Another set of Portfolio Managers who would find the platform useful are those into the portfolio management process and rebalance process.

For Investors:

Investors using the platform would see the improvement in terms of being convenient to use and also in terms of speed when it comes to accessing the platform by investors.

Some other upgrades were done to drive home these changes, which made the upgrade a wholesome one as they touch the technical and service delivery part of the project. Also, the exchange functions and platform stablecoin features of the platform were forfeited to accommodate the changes.

Technical Realizations

• In terms of contract implementation, more management attributes and permission rules are added to realize the types of Open-end and Close-end permissions.
• A new fee management module is added, combined with a price oracle, which automatically calculates the management fee on a monthly basis, and automatically collects it through the vault designated by the contract.
• The importance of collaboration cannot be overemphasized and it can be seen in Version 2 as the platform will Integrate the liquidity of mainstream swap exchanges such as Uniswap and realize secondary market transactions by optimizing the liquidity algorithm, and strengthening the rebalance experience.
• For read-only data on the chain, preprocessing is performed through self-built services to achieve read acceleration and enhanced stability.
• The changes that followed Version 2 can also be seen in the newly built net worth service module. This would facilitate generating price and net worth data for each portfolio/ETF life process through native data on the chain, chainlink, and exchange data, and provide investors with more dimensional data display and experience.
