Tiny Spotlight — Tiny Kingdom

Welcome to the third edition of Tiny Spotlight series, where we take a closer look at the unique features in Tiny World.

Today, we will take a closer look at Tiny Kingdom, Tiny World’s First game that was released in March 2022. Play Tiny Kingdom to generate a passive income through enjoyable, idle-style gameplay.

Before we get started, please be sure to read the previous editions of the Spotlight series to bring you up to speed.

What is P2E (Play-to-earn)?

P2E is a gaming model that allows gamers to generate an income from playing their favourite blockchain based games. Earnings are usually generated in token form, and can be exchanged for FIAT currency through exchanges.

How do you earn through gameplay?

You can earn in various ways under the P2E model, a few of the most popular ways to earn include;

• Reaching season leaderboards
• Trading game assets
• Completing tasks
• Participating in game events

Each platform will have different ways to generate income. Some aspects are free-to-play, but in general, you will need to make an investment in NFTs and other game assets to be able to generate higher income.

Why should you play P2E games?

There are a few reasons that you should participate in P2E games today;

• Generate income through gameplay
• Real ownership of assets
• Become part of growing community
• Huge growth potential in the sector

How popular are blockchain games?

There are over 2 million active users across multiple different blockchains. There has been consistent growth in the sector since its inception in 2017 and the technology, gameplay and design have improved significantly in the last 5 years, from basic webpage games to fully fledged AAA comparable titles.

In Q2 of 2022, there was $2.5 Billion invested into various GameFi projects. In the whole of 2021, $4 Billion was invested into GameFi projects. GameFi is one of the largest sectors in blockchain in terms of users, and there are millions of dollars transacted in P2E games every week.

Similarly to traditional games, there are communities built around these projects. It is still very early days in this sector, and getting involved now can have great financial benefits for gamers.

🏰Tiny Kingdom Introduction🏰

Tiny Kingdom is an idle-style RPG trading game based in The fantasy land of Tiny World. The Dark forces have invaded and are stealing the powerful material resources from the Kingdom. It is up to the brave Tiny Heroes to defeat the enemies and claim back the precious resources. If they fall into evil hands, it could spell disaster for Tiny World!

To start playing the game, you need to go to the Tiny Kingdom interface and prepare yourself for your kingdom adventure. You can start an account by signing into your BEP20 wallet and bind an email address to your account for extra security.

📩Transferring assets to Tiny Kingdom📩

You will need to send Tiny Hero NFTs from your blockchain wallet to Tiny Kingdom to play the game. You can transfer them to Tiny Kingdom by completing an on-chain transaction. Click on the transfer button and select the Heroes you want to send to battle, and the characters will appear in your game account.

You can also deposit 2 tokens to Tiny Kingdom, TINC and BUSD. TINC is used to purchase crystals and BUSD is used as currency in the game marketplaces. Click deposit and select the assets you want to transfer, pay the gas fees, and the tokens will arrive in your in-game wallet.

You can play on desktop, or enjoy on the go on your mobile. On mobile, you can play through the MetaMask app, or other wallet providers such as TokenPocket and Wombat Wallet. You can also download the new android app version of Tiny Kingdom and bind your email address to your account for extra security. Look out for us soon on the playstore and apple store.

✅Check-in✅

Check-in to Tiny Kingdom each day from Monday-Sunday and you will obtain increased crystal rewards through the week. Pay a small gas fee each day to check in and claim your rewards in game

Crystals are vital game currency that is consumed in Tiny Kingdom, mainly to upgrade assets but there are also other important uses.

On the following Monday, provided you have checked-in each day, you will obtain between 1–100 TINC.

🚦Starting your Tiny Kingdom adventure🚦

Now that you have transferred your assets to the game, click the play button and Tiny Kingdom will load. There will be a brief tutorial that will take you through the basics of the game and will reward you with crystals.

On the campaign screen you will be able to view different icons;

Wallet - Deposit/withdraw/view currency and recent transactions

Mail - Claim rewards from check-in, BOSS, quest, rank etc.

Notice - View game updates and important notices

Settings - Change name/language, toggle sound on/off

Crystals - View balance and purchase with TINC

BOSS - Navigate to BOSS trial interface

Quest - Navigate to Quest interface

Rank - View leaderboards

Stage - View/select stage

Battle info - View castle strength

Title - View Hero title conditions/perks

Help - View help for Tiny Kingdom

⚔ Campaign ⚔

In the campaign battle, the aim is to increase your castle strength by defeating as many enemies before your team runs out of HP.

With higher castle strength, you will obtain more crystals and have a better chance to obtain high quality materials. 1 castle = 10 kills

Your battle team can consist of one warrior, one ranger and one wizard. Your Hero will start at level 1 and will gain 1 experience point per kill in the campaign. Once the exp bar has filled, you can level up your Character and improve the base stats.

Note: You must upgrade your hero in Tiny Farm to enable level up in Tiny Kingdom. The character in Tiny Kingdom is level capped to its on-chain counterpart.

Each Tiny Hero has a stat allocation you can check by clicking on their icon. Each stat has a different effect in the game:

Attack: Deals damage to enemies, increases damage per second

HP: When HP reaches 0, Hero faints and stops dealing damage to enemies

Defence: Reduces damage taken

Luck: Increases material and crystals droprate

Combat bonus: Bonus droprate added for specific material

Expedition time: Amount of time spent on expedition and resting

Expedition crystals: average amount of crystals gained from expedition

Expedition droprate: chance to obtain specific material from expedition

When you are ready, click combat to start your battle

🛡Retreat🛡

When your HP has reduced to 0, click the retreat button. You will obtain 1 material per Hero and some crystals once you retreat. You will also be shown the amount of castles conquered in the battle.

You can retreat before your health runs to 0, however, It is important to run your health down to zero on all 3 heroes to maximise castle strength and the chance of obtaining better materials, especially early in the game. Repeat the battle process to grow stronger and make profit from selling materials

💎Materials💎

Materials are in-game assets that currently come in 5 different rarities from 1 star to 5 star and are easily identifiable by their colour. There are over 70 materials and they can all be found in the handbook. High class materials have a higher trading price and are more difficult to obtain.

You need to reach a certain amount of castle strength before you are able to get 2 star materials and above from battle. This is a minimum requirement and does not guarantee that class of material.

The material gained depends on the amount of kills you get. The more kills in a battle, the better chance you have to obtain higher quality materials.

You only have a limited space in your inventory to hold materials. The bag can be increased by clicking the + next to the bag icon and spending TINC. Each increase gives 4 more slots and costs an increasing number of TINC each upgrade.

Materials are needed to create strong equipment that your Heroes can wear to improve their total stats and increase castle strength. You have a limited inventory for materials, you can use materials in a few different ways:

• Melt for crystals
• Use to forge equipment
• Sell on the marketplace
• Exchange for tickets for BOSS/expedition in the workshop
• Use in Quest to earn token rewards

Clicking the forge button will show you all of the equipment you can forge with the current materials in your inventory. Find the workshop in the top left on the material screen where you can exchange materials for tickets to enjoy more gameplay.

Click the yellow button with 3 bars to view your latest transactions.

💍Equipment💍

Equipment is an important game asset that will enhance the stats of your Tiny Hero characters when worn. There different types of equipment categories, some weapons can only be used by a certain class of Hero:

• Light weapons — worn by any class
• Heavy weapons — worn by warriors
• Range weapons — worn by rangers
• Staffs — worn by wizards
• Light armor/Heavy armor — worn by any class
• Amulet/accessory — worn by any class

Equipment has different levels of quality with grey being low and orange being high quality. There is also a limited collection of red-quality 6-star equipment that can be forged, and they are the most powerful equipment currently in the game.

You can forge your own equipment from materials or purchase ready made from other players in the marketplace to speed up the growth process.

Tip: Equipment can be listed at 80% of the forge cost price, so you can find some real bargains if you are looking to upgrade your team quickly

To wear higher quality equipment, you will need to be a certain level with that hero. The level ranges for each quality of equipment can be found below

Equipment can be melted for crystals in the same way as materials. The higher the quality, the more crystals will be obtained. You can find everything you need to know about equipment in the handbook including stats and how to forge each piece of equipment.

📊Equipment stats📊

Each equipment has a range of stats that they can obtain. When forging equipment, stats are randomly generated and allocated a score between 0–100, with 0 having the lowest stat total possible from the ranges, and 100 having the max. This score will be displayed in the top right of the icon.

Not all stats are guaranteed to be added when forging the equipment. Your aim is to achieve the highest score equipment with as many stats as possible.

Weapons tend to focus on attack, armor on HP and Defence, and accessories are more varied in stat distribution. If your hero has low defence, then your accessory can focus more on defence to give a more balanced stat total.

Durability — Each equipment has 20 durability points (DP) which will reduce by 1 after each battle. Each point lost will cost a certain amount of crystals to repair depending on the quality and level of the equipment. If durability falls to 0, then the equipment is broken and will lose the stat boosts until repaired.

📈 Equipment upgrade 📈

You can upgrade equipment by fusing more pieces on the same equipment together and paying a crystal fee. This will increase the equipment level and add a % of the base stats to the total:

Note: Only 3 star equipment and higher can be upgraded to level 15. 1 and 2 star equipment can reach maximum level 10.

🐎 Expedition 🐎

For another way to generate crystals and a better chance to obtain high quality materials, send your Heroes on an expedition in the Hero screen. The Hero will be on expedition for a set time according to its class, with higher class Heroes taking longer for each expedition.

You must click recall to call them back and claim your crystals and material. The amount of crystals and type of material is dependent on both the hero class and the level. Once the expedition has finished, the Hero will take the same amount of time to rest, and will not be able to be used in the Kingdom until the timer has run out.

Heroes class SSR and higher will need an expedition ticket before they can travel. You can obtain this by melting green or blue materials in the workshop.

Note: Only idle heroes can be sent on expedition

🎖Hero Title🎖

Increase your Hero title to unlock great advantages in Tiny Kingdom. To increase your Hero title, 3 conditions need to be met;

• Level requirement
• Castle strength requirement
• Amount veTINC held

Each Hero title brings its own benefits, including extra expedition slots, extra material/equipment selling slots and new stages. This can have a positive impact on your earning opportunities.

Unlocking new stages has a number of different buffs to your campaign team. Each stage increase will:

• Increase crystals obtained per battle by a certain %
• Increase base material droprate
• Increase advanced material droprate

New stages will also display a new battle scenery for the campaign. Make sure you increase the stage as much as possible to enjoy greater growth and earning opportunities

👹 BOSS trial 👹

Play one of the 3 BOSS trials to obtain daily material rewards and special BOSS materials. To battle the BOSS, you will need a separate team of Tiny Heroes and equipment. You are required to hold a certain title to fight different BOSS trials, with the harder BOSS requiring a higher title. You will also need BOSS tickets which can be created in the material workshop.

Once you have selected a trial, then you cannot change the BOSS until a new trial starts.

To reach the daily leaderboard and gain material rewards, you must battle the BOSS trial a minimum 3 times per 24 hour trial period. Each subsequent battle in the trial costs crystals and the amount will increase with each battle.

Battle the BOSS and do as much damage as possible before they deplete your Heroes HP. Your top 3 damage totals from your trial battles will form the daily leaderboard, and you will receive 2 materials, 1 determined by placing and 1 random. It is a great way to obtain advanced materials and special BOSS only materials that can forge stronger equipment.

🤑Earning in Tiny Kingdom🤑

🎯Quest🎯

The quest runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In the quest, you can earn token rewards by forging the correct score on a specific equipment. If you successfully forge the correct score, it will be submitted and you will join the leaderboard and obtain TINC rewards

There is a regular quest carnival event, which is the same as the standard quest but offers BUSD rewards instead of the usual TINC, and a new quest is launched every 24 hours for the whole event period!

If you are successful, the rewards will be sent to your game mail and you can claim them to your wallet

💰Trading💰

Every player can make profit from selling materials and equipment in the P2P marketplace. There is a 5% selling tax and BUSD is the only currency used in the marketplace. To sell a material, simply select the material from the inventory and click the sell button. Set your price and list it and after a small delay, the item will be listed.

Selling equipment is very much the same. Remember that equipment must have 20/20 durability before it can be listed.

This is great for players that may not be strong enough yet to reach the leaderboard, and gives more earning opportunities for all players to earn. Some players wait until the quest when materials are more in demand, others check this app to see the most popular materials traded for that day.

🏆Season Leaderboards🏆

You can find the leaderboards in the “rank” tab, and each season lasts 1 week with TINC rewards sent to the game wallet. They will be locked initially, and will be released hourly over the next 7 days to your balance.

There are currently 3 leaderboards in Tiny Kingdom that players can reach to obtain TINC rewards as follows;

• Castle leaderboard (400 places)
• BOSS leaderboard (200 places)
• Trading leaderboard (300 places)

The castle leaderboard is based on the average castle strength the player achieves across the season.

The BOSS leaderboard is based on total damage done in BOSS trials across the week, with maximum 10 battles per day counting towards leaderboard points. Each BOSS has a specific multiplier to the BOSS points obtain from each battle.

BOSS points = damage in trial/1000

Charonos = 1x multiplier

Behemoth = 6x multiplier

Dark Sceptre = 15x multiplier

For example: You do 50000 damage to the Behemoth BOSS in the trial.

50000/1000 = 50

50 x 6 = 300

300 BOSS points total

The trade leaderboard is ranked according to player expenditure during the season in Tiny Kingdom material and equipment marketplaces.

🏰Tiny Kingdom 3.0🏰

Tiny Kingdom is constantly under development with improvements being made every week. Tiny Kingdom will also feature some exciting new features during 2022 that will bring even more fun gameplay and earning opportunities to Tiny Kingdom

The Tiny Kingdom 3.0 upgrade will introduce a PvP battle arena and the new Pet NFTs. In the PvP battle arena, you will battle against other players in a 3 vs 3 battle with your Tiny Hero characters.

Tiny Pets will have special skills that are used in the PvP arena and will enable users to defeat stronger opponents more regularly.
